Politics is a real part of living in any community, whether it is the Caribbean Community (CARICOM); the global community marked by the rules of multilateral institutions and hegemonic countries that are influenced by their powerful domestic lobbies; or within your country’s borders where if you live in a small open economy like mine, trifling political parties nick pick over the few policy instruments they have to effect change in a country with little policy space.
